JACOB MURPHY will make his second Premier League start when Newcastle United take on Manchester United at Old Trafford this evening.

Murphy has been handed a starting spot in place of the injured Christian Atsu despite having done little since making a £12.5m move from Norwich City in the summer.

Rafael Benitez could have selected Ayoze Perez or Rolando Aarons instead, but the Magpies manager has plumped for Murphy.

Benitez's other change is also enforced, with Ciaran Clark returning to the heart of the back four in place of injured skipper Jamaal Lascelles.

Surprisingly, Benitez looks set to stick with a 4-4-2 formation despite Manchester United having won all of their home games so far this season, with Dwight Gayle and Joselu both named in the starting line-up.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho welcomes Paul Pogba back to his starting side, and has named Anthony Martial, Juan Mata and Marcus Rashford to play behind lone striker Romelu Lukaku.

Having not kicked a ball since damaging his cruciate ligaments in April, Zlatan Ibrahimpovic has been named on the Manchester United bench.
