GERMANY BOUND: Newcastle United boss Rafael Benitez
NEWCASTLE UNITED will take on German side FSV Mainz as part of their pre-season preparations.
The Magpies will line up against the Bundesliga outfit on Saturday, July 29 (4pm).
The game will take place at Mainz's 34,000-capacity Opel Arena, and will be the first of two pre-season games Newcastle will play in Germany.
Rafael Benitez's side will also take on Wolfsburg on Wednesday, August 2.
Ticket details will for both games will be announced shortly.
