HARTLEPOOL UNITED have made former Hamilton Academical full-back Blair Adams their sixth summer signing after relegation to the National League.
The 25-year-old was a free agent after making seven appearances for the Accies last season.
Born in South Shields, Adams began his career with Sunderland before a series of loan moves culminated in a permanent switch to Coventry City in 2013.
The dependable full-back’s next destination was Notts County where he spent two seasons under Shaun Derry before following him to Cambridge United last summer.
The length of Adams’ contract with Pools has not been disclosed.
Hartlepool boss Craig Harrison had been in the market for a left-back since been appointed at Victoria Park and Adams’ arrival follows the signings of Jake Cassidy, Ryan Donaldson, Luke George, Scott Loach and Jack Munns.
