DARLINGTON’S FA Trophy replay at Marine has been rearranged for Tuesday, December 6 (7.45pm) after being postponed earlier today due to a frozen pitch.
The game was called off following an inspection at 12:30, one of several third qualifying round ties to be hit by the weather.
Also postponed was the tie involving Saturday’s opposition, Salford City, who were due to play at home to Harrogate Town.
Blyth’s rematch at Altrincham was postponed at 5:20pm, when most players were en route, and Boston United also had a wasted journey as their tie at Witton Albion was called off only 45 minutes before the scheduled kick-off.
Darlington and Marine drew 2-2 on Sunday at Heritage Park, Quakers recovering from falling 2-0 down with little more than half an hour played.
Manager Martin Gray was deeply disappointed with the performance of some of his team and had planned on making a two or three changes.
