Spennymoor will be cheered on by 150 fans in their FA Cup fourth qualifying round replay at Telford tonight.

Moors chairman Brad Groves announced after the game on Saturday that he would lay on free bus transport for the trip to Shropshire, and within 24 hours two buses were filled, and another was nearly full last night.

The teams drew 2-2 last Saturday with Telford scoring twice in the last five minutes, and manager Jason Ainsley said; “It doesn't surprise me what the chairman has done, he has continuously tried to make life easier for our fans to travel to watch us by making all sorts of kind gestures like this one.

“Saying that for three buses of supporters to travel to Shropshire and back on a Tuesday night, a round trip over nearly nine hours is truly amazing and one which we are all truly grateful. I'm not sure of many step four clubs who could generate that level of support! We are going down there with nothing to fear, no pressure and a real opportunity to progress into the first round.”

Ainsley is hoping to choose from an unchanged squad, depending on any late work commitments.
