Darlington welcome champions Barnard Castle to Feethams and Dale Marshall returns at the expense of Toby Lush, who returns to the second team. Barney are in fifth and are unchanged.

Captain James Finch said: “We have not been performing as we would like over recent weeks. We have been off form with the bat and ball and lacked a little bit of luck. The game against Darlington is a good opportunity for us to turn that around against a good side and we are looking forward to it.”

Richmondshire travel to Marton, who have made a positive return to the Premiership. Vice-captain Sam Wood said ahead of their trip: “We will have the same team as last Saturday and we intend to try and keep the momentum going, that we have built up with our recent form.”

Marton will also be unchanged from last weekend’s draw at Hartlepool and skipper Alex Wardell is looking for an improved performance from his team.

He said: “It was a poor performance last weekend against Hartlepool and we are looking to bounce back immediately, against a very good Richmondshire side.”

Guisborough welcome Hartlepool to Rectory Lane and Martin Hood and Stu Mackay are unavailable and are replaced by Richie Dunn and Alex Smith.

Director of Cricket Chris Nicholls said: “We are looking to build on a very good performance at Barnard Castle last Saturday.

“This is a tough game against Hartlepool and we also have a great opportunity to progress in the Kerridge Cup on Monday verses Middlesbrough – both games are at home and we know that this can be an advantage.”

Pools are missing Dale Metcalfe for the game, so that gives Aaron Feroz, their 16-year-old off spinner, a further opportunity to cement his place in the team. They are up against their ex-professional Shanuka Dissanayake - a very talented all-rounder who has vast knowledge of this division and all their opponents.

Great Ayton make one change at home to Middlesbrough, Tom Leng comes in for John Shelton, while James Lowe the Boro captain said: “We have Adil Ditta back, but other than that, it's the same team as last week. We are looking forward to another tough match. Our lads are feeling confident and keen to keep performing well.”

Marske travel to Stokesley and will make two changes. Chris Veazey comes back in for Gary Lynch and John Mains in for Joe Wing who is unavailable.

Skipper Lee Hodgson said: “Stokesley have started well, so it will be another good test for us, but we're starting to click with bat and ball now and will build on last week’s better point draw against Great Ayton.

Stokesley’s secretary Mark Smith said: “It will be a tough game this weekend against Marske, following our comfortable win last week. Young spinner Harry Harding returns to strengthen the bowling attack and with professional Aubrey Swanepoel in good form following consecutive half centuries, we hope to keep the pressure on the leaders.”

Seaton Carew travel to Norton, who are winless after their first five games, for a bottom of the table clash. Seaton welcome new signing Alan Tebbett into the side from rivals Hartlepool and are hoping that last season's leading wicket taker David Storey, passes a late fitness test.
