DURHAM captain Michael Di Venuto failed to add to his overnight total of 184 as the hosts were bowled out for 406 on the second day of their LV County Championship Division One match against Yorkshire.
Di Venuto dominated proceedings on day one at the Riverside, with no-one else scoring more than 30, but was trapped lbw in Tim Bresnan's first over of the day.
That took Bresnan's tally to four wickets for the innings, but the hosts were frustrated by a knock of 60 from Paul Wiseman before he was last man out to Adil Rashid.
Yorkshire survived three overs to reach lunch at 13 without loss today.
