ENGLAND batsman Paul Collingwood has injured his shoulder less than a week before the first Test against New Zealand at Lords.
Collingwood did not bowl any of his part-time medium-pace for Durham in the second innings of their county championship defeat against Lancashire at Old Trafford yesterday.
It was reported then that he and Durham's England fast bowler Steve Harmison were suffering no more than minor niggles.
Today, however, it emerged Collingwood has had an injection in his shoulder.
