GLAMORGAN moved along more swiftly on the second morning of their Specsavers County Championship match at Chester-le-Street before being all out for 295.

They added 74 in 19.5 overs, but the three remaining wickets all fell to Irishman Barry McCarthy after Graham Wagg and Marchant de Lange had extended their stand to 66.

De Lange drove McCarthy for a straight six two overs before he edged to first slip to depart for 37 then Lukas Carey also went for his shots and made ten before driving to mid-off.

Michael Hogan drove lavishly at his second ball and edged behind, leaving Wagg unbeaten on 33 after looking comfortable on the placid pitch.

In seven overs Durham reached 15 without loss.
