Darlington have a tough game when they travel to the SCG, to play second in the table Stokesley.

Alex Metcalf is working and will be absent, so youngster Toby Lush comes in to replace him. Andy Peacock retains his place after an impressive display against Great Ayton last week, scoring a competent 36 and taking two catches in the field.

Stokesley secretary Mark Smith said: “There are no major changes and we are hoping to get back to winning ways. With professional Aubrey Swanepoel in top form, we are looking to gain maximum points with home advantage.”

Barnard Castle take on league leaders Great Ayton, with skipper James Finch commenting: “Greg Upton returns at the expense of Richard Watson and Ayton are the form side in the league at the moment, while we are proving to be very inconsistent at present.

“However, we are confident this weekend can be the start of us putting together some more impressive performances.”

Ayton make two changes, with Andy Liddle and Joshua Thompson, replaced by Cameron Beath and John Shelton.

Richmondshire journey to Park Drive to play Hartlepool and make one change, with off spinner Ross Whelpdale in for Sam Winter.

For Hartlepool, Chris Harrison retains his place after claiming five wickets against Barnard Castle last weekend. Wicketkeeper Sam Harris returns as he missed the game, due to work. Youngsters George Renton and Brad Frank also keep their places after encouraging performances recently.

Marton welcome back skipper Alex Wardell, opening batsmen Jonny Spillane and Ben Hutchinson from holiday, plus Matthew Connelly returns after his wedding celebrations, for their game at home to Marske.

Skipper Wardell said: “We are definitely looking for a positive result from the game, to try and get some momentum back into our season, against a very tough Marske side.”

Marske have John Mains in for Jozef Wing, who is unavailable, due to a family wedding.

Lee Hodgson, the Marske skipper, said: “We are looking to build on last week’s win against Norton, where we had some good individual performances, but come up against a Marton side that have had a steady start to the season and have some good players in their side, so it's set up for a good game.”

Norton welcome Middlesbrough to Station Road and skipper Dave Cross is without Patrick Mitchell and century maker last weekend, Marc Symington. Helen Fenby and Dave Tait are drafted in to replace them.

Boro have James Beaumont missing, but skipper James Lowe commented: “We are still pleased with our form, but looking to get back to winning games and hoping to close the gap, at the top of the league.”

Seaton Carew go into their game at Guisborough on the back of a winning draw against Marton last weekend and were unlucky not to get all 25 points. Alan Tebbett and Jack Stonehouse are away on holiday, but Seaton welcome back Danny Black and new signing Dave Seymour.

For Guisborough, Martin Hood, Stu Mackay and Neil Russell all return and Chris Nicholls, director of cricket, said: “We are looking to bounce back after the defeat at Richmondshire, when we didn’t do ourselves justice against a good side. We fancy our chances against any team on our own ground.”
