ROB DINWIDDIE sits six shots off the lead in Thailand after two solid rounds of golf.

Dinwiddie followed up an opening round five-under 67 by shooting a 71 on Friday to stay in the top 20 at the True Thailand tournament at Black Mountain Golf Club. The Barnard Castle pro bogeyed the third and the 13th but birdies at the fifth, eighth and 16th ensured he remains firmly in contention after his flawless first round. Aussie Scott Hend leads the way on 12 under with Swede Pelle Edberg.

Graeme Stor, after rounds of 70 and 74, missed the cut by two shots, along with Chris Paisley, despite a second round 67, and York’s Simon Dyson after hitting 75-73.
