GRAEME STORM has work to do to secure a high finish at the money-spinning Turkish Airlines Open after an unspectacular start.

Storm followed up Thursday’s one under 71 with a two-over 74 to drop down to tied 62nd on the Montgomerie Maxx Royal course in Antalya.

There is no cut for the 78-strong field so he will be looking for a strong weekend to give his Race to Dubai season’s earnings a big lift in the hope of forcing his way in to the top 60 in the rankings.

He started with a birdie at the third but then never built on that. Despite an eagle at the 13th, he hit five bogeys over the rest of his round. The Hartlepool golfer is 15 shots shy of South African leader Jaco van Zyl.
