DARLINGTON HARRIERS will have a record-breaking ten young athletes at next month's English Schools Cross-Country Championships.

Nine of them - Ben Lambert , Max Harris, Stella Jones, Catherine Roberts, Harriet Rogers, India Pentland, James Roberts, Lucy-Erin Hunter and Katie Noble - will be representing County Durham, the club's biggest-ever representation. In addition, Emma Hart will represent North Yorkshire.

The championships at Norwich Show Ground on March 18 will bring the curtain down on a hugely successful cross-country season for the Harriers youngsters, with the Under-15 girls finishing as team winners in the North Yorkshire and South Durham series.
