Sunderland's home date with Newcastle United on Saturday, August 20 will now kick-off at noon on police advice.

The Wear-Tyne derby will not be screened live on Sky Sports and there are only two Sunderland fixtures scheduled to be on television at this stage.

The trip to Norwich City, originally due to take place on September 24, will now kick-off at 8pm on Monday, September 26.

And the trip to Queens Park Rangers will also be screened by Sky but on the same date, Tuesday, December 20, that it was originally planned at 8pm.

Newcastle have learned that four of their early season fixtures have been changed to be screened live on Sky Sports.

The Magpies' trip to Queens Park Rangers will now take place on Monday, September 12 (8pm) and their home date with Tottenham has been rearranged for October 16 (4pm).

Newcastle have also been told that their trip to Stoke City will start at 8pm on October 31 and the visit of Everton to St James' Park will now take place at 12.45pm on November 5.
