DENIS Behan made his first start of the season, as Joe Gamble returned to the starting line up after injury as Hartlepool United looked for back to back victories.
Pools took on Carlisle at Victoria Park, on the back of Saturday's victory over Walsall – their first home win of the campaign.
Ritchie Humphreys and Fabian Yantorno were missing through injury.
