PETER Lovenkrands returns to Newcastle's starting line-up for today's home game with Swansea.

Lovenkrands replaces striker Andy Carroll, who is missing because of illness.

The Dane's return is the only change to the side that started Monday night's 1-0 win over Preston.

That means Danny Guthrie continues on the right of midfield, with Kevin Nolan continuing to operate in a deeper midfield role.

Loanee Zurab Khizanishvili returns to the substitutes' bench after completing a three-game ban.
