2010 Croft Touring Car tickets already being snapped up

A PRE-CHRISTMAS discount offer has already led to tickets being sold for Croft’s 2010 round of the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship.

The popular North-East circuit has put trackside admission tickets on sale at £20 if booked this side of the yuletide break (see www.croftcircuit.co.uk or call 01325-721815 for more details).

Doing so will save £4 per person compared to the advanced booking price in the New Year (£24) and also £7 cheaper than paying on the gate on race day (£27).

The Darlington circuit, which hosts the North-East’s only BTCC event of the year, this week confirmed that the pre-Christmas sale had resulted in tickets being sold some seven months before its 2010 BTCC round which will take place on Sunday, June 20.

Furthermore, Croft will also continue its policy of free admission for children aged 15 and under into 2010.

Croft traditionally draws a bumper BTCC crowd, but even by its standards ticket sales so far in advance have been described as “quite amazing” by a circuit spokesperson.

On the day the trackside crowds will see the three latest races in the 2010 BTCC calendar as well as action from the supporting Ginetta G50, Ginetta Junior, Porsche Carrera, Formula Renault and Renault Cup championships.

In addition, once through the gate, there will be open access to the BTCC paddock and the specially-organised Pit Lane Walkabout session which allows the public to meet the stars of the show for autographs, photos and team give-aways.
