THERE will be more transfer activity at Darlington in the coming days and a case of one in, one out.

Manager Tommy Wright is on the verge of completing his fourth summer signing in the form of a winger.

The player, who has played previously for Wright, is a free agent and due to put pen to paper at Quakers within 24 hours.

He will follow Simon Ainge, Liam Hughes and Jordan Nicholson in joining Darlington this summer, while the departure of a current squad member is due to be confirmed this morning.

He will join a fellow North-East club and become the 11th player to leave Quakers this summer.

Meanwhile, Darlington’s hopes of bringing in a goalkeeper are ongoing. The team reconvenes for their first session of pre-season on Saturday.
