THE British Touring Car Championship – the UK’s biggest motorsport series – is Yorkshire-bound next weekend (June 23-24) as the country’s fastest drivers rev into Croft Circuit, near Darlington. Fancy a slice of the high-octane action? Then read on!

We have five pairs of weekend tickets with a cash value of £76 per pair to give away, which will give you the opportunity to see the likes of Yorkshire’s finest Dan Cammish (Leeds), Sam Tordoff (Bradford), Senna Proctor (Driffield) and Daniel Lloyd (Huddersfield) duelling door-handle to door-handle at speeds of up to 150mph.

Not forgetting, of course, championship leader Colin Turkington – dubbed the ‘King of Croft’ for his outstanding record in North Yorkshire in recent years – young guns Adam Morgan, Jack Goff and Tom Ingram, three-time title-winner Matt Neal and reigning champion Ash Sutton, who is enduring a tough time of things in 2018 but always shines at Croft and took his first BTCC win at the track two years ago.

Away from the track, Croft operates an open-paddock policy, and Sunday morning’s ever-popular pit-lane walkabout offers the opportunity to grab autographs and snap selfies with the stars of the show.

Beyond the BTCC, there is plenty more fast-paced entertainment to enjoy, from the Ginetta Junior Championship for precociously gifted 14-to-17-years-olds to the Renault UK Clio Cup for tomorrow’s touring car heroes, the Ginetta GT4 SuperCup and the F4 British Championship, where you may just spot a future Formula One driver or two.

For your chance to be there and take in all the spectacular action at close quarters, simply answer the following question:

Which BTCC driver is known as the ‘King of Croft’?

a) Ash Sutton

b) Sam Tordoff

c) Colin Turkington
