YOUNG sport fans are being urged to support their local time and sign up for a community football programme.
Darlington Football Club is looking for youngsters to sign up its Junior Quakers Club for the 2018/19 season.
The Junior Quakers Club, which is run by the Darlington FC Supporters Group (DFCSG), costs £10 for membership throughout the season.
Joining the club will give members opportunities to meet Darlington players at various DFCSG activities, including Christmas parties, discount on items in Quaker Retail and a personalised birthday card signed by the squad.
Those who attend 15 home games will have the chance meet their favourite player pre-match and have a photo with him on the pitch.
A spokesperson for Darlington Football Club said: “Here is a great chance for Darlington fans under the age of 11 to meet their favourite Quakers’ player and be a real part of our community club.”
