ROB ELLIOT returns to Newcastle United's starting line-up at Arsenal this afternoon as part of five changes from the side that lost to Everton in midweek.
Rafael Benitez has rung the changes at the Emirates, with Karl Darlow finding himself dropped after his error enabled Wayne Rooney to score the only goal of the game three days ago.
Elliot was dropped himself four games ago, on the back of a poor performance against Watford, but the Ireland international is restored to the starting line-up today.
Jonjo Shelvey is suspended after his dismissal against Everton, with Isaac Hayden named as his replacement at the heart of midfield.
Matt Ritchie is dropped for the first time this season, with Mo Diame also making way, with Benitez selecting Jacob Murphy and Christian Atsu instead.
And the final Newcastle change comes in attack, with Joselu named as a lone striker ahead of Dwight Gayle.
