GARRY MONK has shown he will not be afraid to ring the changes as Middlesbrough manager for this evening's televised Championship fixture with Sheffield United.

Monk, whose side lost their opening game to Wolves last week, is looking to claim a first win and he has made four changes to his starting line-up at the Riverside - a couple enforced.

Daniel Ayala and Martin Braithwaite are understood to have picked ip up late injuries in training so that has opened the door for Rudy Gestede and Dael Fry.

Ashley Fletcher has also been left out and Patrick Bamford, bright as a substitute a week ago, has been introduced, while Adam Forshaw replaces Maretn de Roon following his departure this week.

Chelsea youngster Lewis Baker is name on the bench following his two-year loan move and he is joined there by Adama Tarore.
