MIDDLESBROUGH have made two changes for this evening's Tees-Wear derby at the Stadium of Light, with Sunderland set to be unchanged.

Boro head coach Steve Agnew has recalled Adam Forshaw and Cristhian Stuani to the side that crashed to a 4-0 defeat at Bournemouth on Saturday.

Antonio Barragan drops out of the starting line-up, while Gaston Ramirez is suspended after his dismissal at the Vitality Stadium.

Agnew will abandon the five-man defence he fielded against Bournemouth, with Calum  Chambers lining up at right-back in a flat back four.

Sunderland boss David Moyes has named the same side that started the 2-2 draw with West Ham in the Black Cats' last outing.

That means Lee Cattermole will return to the Riverside after starting his career as a Middlesbrough player, with Jason Denayer once again partnering John O'Shea at the heart of the Sunderland backline.
