GRAEME STORM is three shots off the lead at the lucrative Omega Dubai Desert Classic.

The Rockliffe Hall Tour pro, who had led the tournament briefly after birdieing two of his first three holes on Friday, has carded two solid rounds in the Middle East.

Storm followed up his four-under 68 with a 70 in his second round to comfortably make the cut and he will look to finish off the job over the weekend at a competition where he can earn €50,000 for finishing tenth.

The 37-year-old is hovering around that area going into the third round despite a couple of bogeys on Friday which spoiled a card boasting five birdies.
