Spennymoor are hoping to maintain their unbeaten league start to the season when they go to Farsley in the EvoStik League First Division North on Saturday.
Moors are unbeaten in their nine league games so far this season, and have won three times away from home in five trips.
Manager Jason Ainsley said; “We must keep our unbeaten run going, especially as we’re falling behind in our fixtures because of replays.
“Farsley might be lower down the league, but they’ve been near the top in recent seasons. Plus, they’ve only lost games by an odd goal. They’re still a very good side.”
Dan Lowson returns between the posts for Moors today, which means that Joe Fryer has gone back to Middlesbrough. “Joe really enjoyed his time with us, so it’s worked out well for both parties. We’re really grateful to Boro for helping us.”
Full back Michael Hogganson is added to the squad, while defender Joe Tait will have a fitness test.
