Spennymoor Town have a tough opening tie in this season’s FA Trophy.
Moors have been drawn away in the preliminary round to Glossop North End, who won the North West Counties League last season, and lost in the Vase final at Wembley against North Shields.
If Moors win that game, then they will be at home to Goole in the first qualifying round.
The draw for the first qualifying round draw as it affects the north east clubs is; Darlington v Mossley or Harrogate RA, Blyth v Kendal or Scarborough, Workington v Whitby, Glossop or Spennymoor v Goole. Games to be played on October 31st.
