FABRICIO COLOCCINI has been instantly recalled to the Newcastle United starting line-up for the visit of Tottenham.
On an afternoon when large sections of Magpies supporters are expected to boycott the game to protest against Mike Ashley’s ownership of the club, Coloccini returns to action after a three-match ban.
He will line up alongside Mike Williamson at the heart of the defence, while head coach John Carver has also included three central midfielders which suggests a change of formation in a bid to end a run of five Premier League defeats.
NEWCASTLE UNITED (4-5-1): Krul; Janmaat, Williamson, Coloccini, Taylor; Gouffran, Colback, Abeid, Anita, Cabella; Perez. Subs: Elliot (gk), Riviere, Ameobi, Obertan, Armstrong, Kemen, Sterry, Woodman (gk).
