GRAEME STORM has made a promising start to the Tshwane Open in South Africa.
The Hartlepool golfer had looked in trouble after following up a birdie at the third in Pretoria with a double bogey at the next. From there, though, everything went to plan and he made four more birdies on his way to an opening round three-under 67.
Storm sits four off leading pair David Horsey and Morten Orum Madsen as he looks to make his second cut of the year.
It was a more frustrating story for Harrogate’s John Parry and Barnard Castle’s Rob Dinwiddie. They face battles to make the weekend after posting 71 and 72 respectively.
