GRAEME STORM has missed his third successive cut since returning to action in 2015 after failing to shine at the Dubai Desert Classic.
Storm, who has struggled in Qatar and Abu Dhabi in previous weeks, will be glad to see the back of the Middle East after finishing on four over for the tournament in Dubai.
He followed up Thursday’s 75 with a second round 73, leaving him towards the bottom of the leaderboard rather than focused on planning for the weekend play.
The Hartlepool golfer, provided his nagging shoulder problem does not force his withdrawal, will now fly out to the Far East to compete in the Maybank Malaysian Open in Kuala Lumpur.
