SPENNYMOOR Town Reserves were flying high when they arrived at Welfare Park, but Horden CW halted their march up the table.

A fifth-minute header by Mark Brischuk separated the teams at interval before two goals in minutes from Andrew Lonsdale and Brischuk left Moors trailing. They reduced the deficit with David Gibson but Daniel Turner struck a fourth for Horden.

Easington Colliery missed the chance to go top, beaten by the odd goal in five at Seaton Carew. After an early lead courtesy of Neil Fannen, Seaton conceded twice to David Paul. The Seasiders rallied and after Craig Weatherill levelled, Carl Ryan scored his first to earn victory.

Hartlepool had led Prudhoe Town through Mark Bayles (og) and Carl Winspear but Stephen Foster halved the deficit, Jonathan Yip levelled.

Wolviston and Boldon CA also shared four goals with James Rowe and Wayne Brown on target for the hosts.

Carl Young was Boldon’s first, Liam Clark equalised.
