KENNETH FERRIE has made an impressive start to the Czech Masters and sits two shots off the lead after day one.

The Ashington golfer posted a 68, four under, to sit just adrift of overnight leader Jamie Donaldson going in to Friday’s second round in Prague.

It was not so good news for Hartlepool’s Graeme Storm. He carded a 75, three over, to leave himself plenty of work to do to make the cut.
