DURHAM’s wait for a second FA Women’s Super League 2 victory goes on as Yeovil Town came from behind to win.

Zoe Ness put Durham ahead midway through the first half but Sarah Wiltshire levelled before the break.

Ellie Curson put the Glovers ahead with a fine strike ten minutes after the break before Wiltshire secured the points in the closing stages.

Yeovil made a lively start as Wiltshire hit the woodwork from inside two minutes.

The Wildcats were twice denied by Yeovil goalkeeper Rachel Simkin but their persistence paid off on 26 minutes when Ness slotted home after being sent through by Beth Hepple.

Yeovil equalised in the 33rd minute when Wiltshire stabbed home after Natalie Haigh knocked the ball back across goal following a goalmouth scramble.

The Glovers edged ahead on 55 minutes when Curson fired home with a stunning strike following a superb flowing move involving Helen Bleazard and Katie Cook.

Durham came close to levelling matters on 78 minutes when Emily Scott clattered an angled effort against the crossbar.

Bleazard almost added a third for Yeovil in the 83rd minute when her long range effort was deflected wide for a corner but Wiltshire completed the scoring on 89 minutes.
