NEW strike duo Ayoze Perez and Emmanuel Riviere spearhead Newcastle United’s attack for tonight’s pre-season friendly at Sheffield Wednesday.
Magpies boss Alan Pardew has named a youthful squad for tonight’s game with Lubomir Satka, Mehdi Abeid, Adam Armstrong and Perez all starting.
There is also a place in the line-up for Gabriel Obertan, whose future remains the subject of speculation after falling out of favour at St James’ Park last season.
Cheik Tiote also plays in midfield with Gael Bigirimana and Vurnon Anita both on the bench.
