AIMEE WILLMOTT claimed her second Commonwealth Games silver medal this evening as she finished second in the final of the 200m butterfly in Glasgow.
Willmott added the butterfly medal to the silver she claimed in the 400m Individual Medley on the opening night of competition, even though the event is not supposed to be her strongest.
The Middlesbrough swimmer looked like taking the gold when a storming third length saw her turn narrowly in the lead at the 150m mark.
Canada's Audrey Lacroix came back at Willmott from one of the outside lanes, but the Teessider dug deep to win her second silver medal of the Games.
She could yet complete a hat-trick of medals as she will complete her programme with an outing in the 400m freestyle tomorrow.
