NEWCASTLE UNITED pair Adam Armstrong and Freddie Woodman played pivotal roles as England Under-17s made it two wins from two at the European Championships.
England followed up a 3-0 win over Malta by defeating Turkey 4-1 to close in on a place in the next stage and they face Holland on Thursday.
Armstrong scored England’s fourth against Turkey and there was also a first half penalty save from goalkeeper Woodman. It was Armstrong’s second goal of the competition, having also found the net against Malta.
