GRAEME STORM suffered the disaster of missing the cut at the Championship in Singapore yesterday – just 24 hours after powering his way in to the top 20.

The Hartlepool golfer dropped below the line with a second round 76, four over, to end Friday on one under having scored well with a 67 a day earlier.

Yorkshiremen Simon Dyson and John Parry also failed to make the weekend. The latter retired after his horror show on Thursday, while Dyson carded a 71 yesterday.

Thailand's Panuphol Pittayarat is the leader going into the final two rounds after shooting a 68 to take him to 13 under, a shot clear of American David Lipsky at Laguna National.
