Sunderland confirm Scocco signing
SUNDERLAND have completed the signing of Argentina international Ignacio 'Nacho' Scocco for an undisclosed fee.
The 28-year old front man heads to Wearside on a two-and-half year deal, from South American club Internacional, whom he joined last year.
Scocco becomes the fourth new face at the Stadium of Light this month, following the arrivals of Marcos Alonso, Santiago Vergini and Oscar Ustari on Wearside.
The Argentinian began his career with South American club Newell’s Old Boys, then enjoyed spells in Mexico, Greece and the United Arab Emirates, before returning to Argentina in 2012.
Scocco made his international debut for Argentina in 2012, scoring twice past Brazil.
