NORWICH BOUND: Jonas Gutierrez has left Newcastle United on loan for the remainder of the season
JONAS GUTIERREZ has left Newcastle United to join Norwich City on loan until June 30.
The Argentinian winger has rejoined former Magpies boss Chris Hughton, and is expected to complete a permanent move from Tyneside in the summer.
Gutierrez joined Newcastle in July 2008 and scored 11 goals in 195 appearances during his five-and-a-half seasons on Tyneside.
His only start of the current campaign came in the opening-day defeat at Manchester City, with personal issues forcing his return to Argentina last autumn.
He was unable to reclaim his place in the Newcastle first team after returning to the North-East, and is eligible to make his Norwich debut against Hull this weekend.
