NEWCASTLE Eagles went level on points with second-placed Sheffield Sharks following a 104-73 victory over rock-bottom Surrey United in the British Basketball League.
Eagles led from start to finish with Malik Cooke leading all-scorers with an impressive 34 points.
Brandon McGill led the United scorers with 21 but his side are still looking for their first win of the season having lost all 12 games so far.
