Rockliffe ready for dramatic finale
A TWO-SHOT swing on the 11th hole has left Santiago Luna with a single shot lead going in to the last six holes of the English Senior Open.
As the Danish hopeful birdied the testing par three, his nearest rival Steen Tinning found the bunker with his tee shot and was unable to save par.
That means the overnight leader, who broke the course record with a brilliant 63 on Saturday, has now lost the lead outright for the first time today to Spaniard Luna on 15 under.
Order of Merit leader Paul Wesselingh has also motored up the leaderboard with a six under through 13 holes to leave him five shots off the likeable Luna.
Matfen Hall's John Harrison was the first of the North-East golfers to finish. He carded an impressive 69, three under, to climb to one under at Rockliffe Hall.
