DURHAM took up where they left off at Derby on Saturday as they closed in relentlessly on the title at home to Nottinghamshire this morning.
After choosing to bat, despite the 10.15 start, it seemed the visitors might not improve on Derbyshire’s second innings total of 63 when they crumbled to 42 for six.
They were all out for 78 in just under two hours with Graham Onions, Chris Rushworth and Jamie Harrison taking three wickets each.
The pitch is blameless and in three overs’ batting Durham reached 16 without loss.
