Rockliffe gearing up for Seniors after Trilby success
SEB Carmichael-Brown, from The Shire Golf Club in Hertfordshire, won the first Rockliffe Hall held grand final of the William Hunt Trilby Tour.
Carmichael-Brown edged out Paul Rogers, David Smith and Ashley Alina in the final play-off on the day, with Darlington golfer Neil Riddell scoring a total of 34 points – six points ahead of former England striker Teddy Sheringham.
The Trilby Tour Matchplay, singles and pairs, now takes place at Rockliffe Hall this Monday as part of the Trilby Tour series, again featuring players from all over the UK with around 40 players taking part along with 40 caddies.
Rockliffe is also gearing up to hold its first Tour event with the English Senior Open visiting from October 4-6.
Top tour names such as Barry Lane, Peter Fowler, Anders Forsbrand, Mark James and Gordon Brand Jnr along with Matfen's John Harrison are among those already confirmed to take part.
