Magpies reject Arsenal's Cabaye bid
NEWCASTLE UNITED have reportedly rejected a £10m bid from Arsenal for Yohan Cabaye.
The French midfielder, due to play in Newcastle's opening game against Manchester City tonight, has been the subject of speculation throughout the summer with Manchester United, Arsenal, Paris St Germain and AS Monaco all interested in signing him.
However, after their opening day defeat to Aston Villa, Arsene Wenger appears to have given in to calls from supporters to spend money, with the Gunners tabling a £10m bid for Cabaye.
The Magpies are not keen to let Cabaye leave and have rejected Arsenal's advances immediately.
