Magpies draw Benfica in Europa League quarter-finals
NEWCASTLE UNITED will face Benfica in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, today's draw has confirmed.
The Magpies sealed their place in the last eight of the competition with a last gasp win over Anzhi at St James' Park last night.
They will now face Portuguese side Benfica and will be away in the first leg on April 4 before hosting the second leg at St. James' Park on April 11.
The three remaining English teams avoided each other in the draw.
Quarter-final draw:
- Chelsea v Rubin Kazan
- Tottenham v FC Basel
- Fenerbahce v Lazio
- Benfica v Newcastle United
