Ba completes Chelsea move

ONE IN, ONE OUT: Demba Ba completes his move to Chelsea as Newcastle sign full back Mathieu Debuchy
DEMBA BA has completed his transfer from Newcastle United to Chelsea after signing a three-and-a-half-year deal at Stamford Bridge.
The transfer ends a long-running saga after Chelsea triggered a £7.5m release clause in the contract he signed with the Magpies 18 months ago.
He will be eligible for selection for Chelsea's FA Cup match at Southampton tomorrow, and the Capital One Cup semi-final against Swansea, but cannot play for the club in the Europa League this season having appeared in the competition for Newcastle. He will wear the no. 29 shirt.
Ba has scored 13 goals for Newcastle this season and left having scored 29 goals in 54 appearances for the club.
The news of Ba's transfer follows the Magpies' capture of France full-back Mathieu Debuchy, who signed from Lille for £5.5m earlier today.
