- Everton v Sunderland - Premier League - 3pm - Richard Mason reports
- Yeovil Town v Hartlepool - League One - 3pm - Nick Loughlin reports
- West Auckland v Darlington - Ebac Northern League Division One - Craig Stoddart reports
4:57pm
FT: Yeovil 1 Hartlepool 0.
Slack defending early on brought goal on seven minutes. first half poor, but Pools had a right go in the second half.
Had their chances, plenty of them, but couldn't take any and Yeovil were hanging on at the end. Pools now 11 points from safety, new manager to come in early next week.
4:53pm
4:52pm
FT: Everton 2 Sunderland 1
4:46pm
Connor Wickham is Martin O'Neill's final substitution, on for Jack Colback. Sunderland chasing this game down now.
4:44pm
Still no goal for Pools, much improved second half. Wyke on for Franks.
4:40pm
Carlos Cuellar's just rifled a shot against Craig Gardner after Louis Saha's pullback. Sunderland so close to the equaliser there.
4:37pm
GOAL: 1-1 (Fellaini 76) Sunderland concede the lead, Marouane Fellaini firing Everton back into it from Leon Osman's pass. The Toffees had been in the ascendancy but Sunderland looked comfortable
GOAL: 2-1 (Jelavic 79) Sunderland 2-1 down in seconds. Osman's pass to Fellaini, the Belgian backheeled through O'Shea's legs and Jelavic sweeps home. Game turned on its head.
4:30pm
Sunderland's Louis Saha coming on for Steven Fletcher - striker had been struggling and former Toffee comes back to Goodison.
4:29pm
Best spell of the game for Hartlepool right now. Chances for Hartley and Collins in front of goal, but both swiped at them. Shots from Walton and Poole, and the Yeovil crowd getting edgy. Still 1-0 to the home side.
4:15pm
Sunderland's Steven Fletcher's not looking too well - he took a knock in the first half and he's just had further treatment. Movement seems restricted.
4:09pm
John Heitinga's header volleyed off the line by Johnson, still 0-1 Sunderland.

3:54pm
HALF-TIME: Sunderland go 1-0 up on the stroke of half-time - Adam Johnson volleys home from Gardner's ball over after Larsson corner.
3:51pm
HT: Yeovil 1 Hartlepool 0.
Early goal should have been cut out, cross for Edwards too easy. Pools offering little going forward, bit of a flat and quiet game of very little incident.
3:39pm
3:38pm
Sunderland playing well here. Colback goes close after sublime touch by a rejuvenated Adam Johnson. Keeper saves comfortably.
3:30pm
Kevin Mirallas goes off clutching his left thigh, that's his involvement over today. A petulant throw of his glove to the ground and he's off down the tunnel. Steven Naismith comes on for Everton.
3:27pm
Pools yet to offer much today - Yeovil closing down quickly and in their faces. Like Bury - who incidentally are winning against Portsmouth - their game plan is to harrass and chase and make the most of the frailities.
3:11pm
GOAL: Yeovil 1 Hartlepool 0. Seven minutes in, cross in far too easily from the left side, Pools shape on the right all wrong and Edwards pokes in.
3:10pm
CHANCE: Sunderland have a second chance. Steven Fletcher sees his shot drift just wide of the post after Sessegnon's through ball. Sunderland fans in dreamland here.
3:08pm
3:06pm
SHOT ON TARGET: Sunderland have the first opportunity of the game, an actual shot on goal. Stephane Sessegnon was put through by Steven Fletcher, and the Beninese held off Seamus Coleman only to see his shot saved by the feet of Tim Howard.
3:03pm
Goodison Park: Teams are out, Peter Reid came out just before and waved to both sets of fans. Reid is the last Sunderland manager to taste victory here at Goodison Park. 1996. Remember that?

2:45pm
Unsure of the specifics of the Cattermole and Bardsley injuries - O'Neill confirmed on Friday that he had doubts about certain players, but wouldn't reveal who. Which is his prerogative I suppose.
2:44pm
Hartlepool unchanged at Yeovil this afternoon - only one man missing Ryan Noble off the bench, with Ritchie Humphreys replacing him.
Yeovil include Dan Burn, the ex-Darlington centre-half on loan from Fulham.
YEOVIL: Stech; Ayling, Burn, Webster, McAllister; Edwards, Smith, Johnson, Foley; Hayter, Madden. Subs: Hinds, Marsh-Brown, Williams, Reid, Stewart, Haynes Brown.
HARTLEPOOL: Flinders; Richards, Collins, Hartley, Austin; Franks, Murray, Sweeney, Walton, Poole; Howard. Subs: Humphreys, Horwood, Luscombe, Baldwin, Holden, McHugh, Wyke.
Referee: Tim Robinson (Bognor Regis)
2:25pm
So that's Lee Cattermole out, as is Phil Bardsley, so Sunderland are shorn of a leader, while Craig Gardner goes back to right-back and Danny Rose returns to the team after picking up an injury at Stoke a fortnight ago.
Everton, meanwhile, are unchanged. The one sweet relief for Sunderland fans is that Tim Cahill is not involved today. But knowing Sunderland's luck, he'll probably notch one from the terraces.
2:23pm
Team news from Goodison Park:
EVERTON (4-4-1-1): Howard; Coleman, Heitinga, Jagielka, Baines; Mirallas, Osman, Neville, Pienaar; Fellaini; Jelavic. Subs: Mucha, Oviedo, Naismith, Distin, Hitzlsperger, Gueye, Vellios.
SUNDERLAND (4-2-3-1): Mignolet; Gardner, O'Shea, Cuellar, Rose; Larsson, Colback; Johnson, Sessegnon, McClean; Fletcher. Subs: Westwood, Wickham, McFadden, Kilgallon, Vaughan, Saha.
2:09pm
Some team news fizzing about, suggesting that Cattermole and Bardsley are out of today's game, while Rose and McClean are recalled. Can only assume that Cattermole is injured considering he was Sunderland's best player by a country mile against Aston Villa a week ago.

There are more, I just can't find them right now.
2:01pm
I'm going to pepper you with the tweets I got this morning when I suggested that Sunderland fans were not expecting a win from their trip to Merseyside. It's basically an assortment of doom and gloom-mongers. In the interests of light and shade, I will endeavour to find something to make people smile. This may take a while.

RT @JHunterChron: Last #safc league win at Goodison was 1996. Back then Major was PM, petrol 53p/litre, beer £1.73/pint, 20 cigs £2.89, 1st class stamp 26p

Everton have one of these press boxes where once you're in, you can't get out. So, for the time being, I'm staying put in the press room, just behind the seats, where the atmosphere is warm and convivial. Plus, happily, it's full of journalists who can confirm the spelling of convivial.
1:56pm
Good afternoon sports fans. I'm at a sunny Goodison Park ahead of Sunderland's Premier League fixture at Everton. Optimism is in short supply for the visiting fans, but there's always hope. And where there's hope, there's a chance, they say. Others say it's the hope that kills you in the end. I hope you can make an educated choice.
