Darlington 21st Allstars Football Club have been invited to play in a football tournament in Amiens, France our twin town, on the 18th till the 21st of April. We will be playing against other countries such as France, Moldova, Romania, Holland and Poland as well as many other teams.

We are playing the tournament over two days Saturday and Sunday and we will play at least five games in the group stage and more if we get through. The games are eleven a side and we play for fifteen minutes.

We have got a new home strip, sponsored by Noble Self Drive and a new away strip for this trip and have our new kit bags to put our football kit, boots and other stuff.

There is 14 21st Allstars players going down on the coach to Dover and we leave Darlington at 6am. Then we have to get the ferry for an hour to Calais and then a couple of hours drive to Amiens arriving at about 5pm.

Our team has had to fundraise for this trip to pay for all of it such as bag packing at Asda and a donation from the Dosh' fund.

While we are on this trip we are staying with the French footballers parents in their homes and they will be looking after us while we are there. There will be two players staying in each home and we will eat whatever they are eating and do whatever they are doing.

Hopefully we can come home with a trophy, but mainly this trip is about enjoying ourselves and mixing with foreign people.
