There was a slight change to the normal running of a Newblood evening as the staff decided to raffle off a Newblood t-shirt for 50p a ticket, which were sold at the door. All the money raised in this will go to a charity. At the end, the winner(s) were drawn out of a bucket, but because of some confusion, there ended up being 2 winners, getting a t-shirt each.

Inclusion kicked of the night with some rock. The four guys definitely got the crowd going, even encouraging a mosh pit which appealed to many in the crowd. With some awesome guitar soloing they definitely got the evening of to an awesome start.

The next band was Proud Scout. Their rocky music didn't really appeal to the crowd who left part of the way through. However this didn't get them down, and they carried on playing to the remainder of the crowd that stayed for them.

To headline the night, Grand Guignol were the 3rd and final band of the night. The heavy metal band really got the crowd going, and many were saying that they were the best band that had played Newblood for a while. The band got some excellent head banging from the crowd on the night, and the 3 guys definalty rocked the stage with their guitarring.
