It was another scorching day and loads of Newblooders were soon cueing outside the venue for another brilliant night of bands. The 3 bands that were playing on the day were King Philips, Apex and Fulibulbus.

The night was dedicated to a 17year old called Liam Harker who sadly passed away in May from Cancer. The Newblood staff decided to try and raise money for Cancer research, so collection buckets were placed in the café area for people to donate.

Apex kicked off the evening with their unique fashion sense. The lead singer getting the crowd going with their rendition of supermassive black hole, which was loved my everyone. The guy even played the guitar with his teeth! Now come on anyone who can play their guitar with their face has to be awesome!!

The king Philips didn't really get the crowd going but had a good stab at it, but their drummer was awesome anyway. Finally Fulibulbus rocked everyone's socks as the headlining band. They were definitely the act of the night. The band included a saxophone a trombone a trumpet two guitars and a drummer. Mind you the best part was definitely their hair and their dress sense.
