Forming in 2008, Misled Icons have become a large part of the North East music scene. Playing a mix of pop-punk and punk rock, whilst blending elements of hardcore punk into their music, the band have managed to find their own place in a genre too often filled by imitation bands of Green Day and blink-182.

The event allows local and low profile bands a chance to play to up the fans whilst expressing themselves. Struck by Kings, are an indie band, based in the North East. The band is made up of four Darlington boys, who formed after the original members of the band, vocalist Jake Turnbull and lead guitarist Thomas Howson expanded their acoustic act “Tom&Jake” as they were joined by drummer Glen Bowen and bassist Ross Latue.
